Unauthenticated management access via exposed web interface
Published Jan 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 2, 2025
Authentication bypass in Rehau devices using Carel pCOWeb web 2.2 allows remote attackers to access configuration and services. The embedded web server exposes /http/default.html on its management ports without an authentication option or access check. Network reachability to a pCOWeb service port is the only reported gate; the evidence establishes exposed management access, not service interruption.
