Service interruption via COPS packet decoding
Published Dec 28, 2024 · Updated Dec 28, 2024
Out-of-bounds reads in Huawei COPS protocol decoders allow remote attackers on an affected network to interrupt device service. A decoding function reads beyond its input buffer while processing a crafted incoming COPS packet. Network access is required, and the documented consequence is limited to service disruption without confidentiality or integrity impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
