Out-of-bounds reads in Huawei network-security products allow remote attackers on the affected network to interrupt services with crafted packets. A COPS decoding function reads beyond an input buffer while processing a malformed incoming protocol packet. Network access is required, and the documented consequence is limited to service disruption without reported data disclosure or modification.
