Stored script execution via Homepage Introduction field
Published May 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in LAOBANCMS 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through the Homepage Introduction field. The admin/info.php?shuyu workflow saves an unneutralized script payload from that field and publishes it to the site index. Administrative access is required to store the payload, and another user's visit to the regenerated index triggers script execution in that user's browser.
