Administrator account deletion via forged request
Published Aug 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Indexhibit 2.1.5 allows remote attackers to delete administrator accounts through a victim's browser. The administrative account-deletion action accepts an attacker-chosen account ID and processes the request through an authenticated administrator's session without verifying intent. A logged-in administrator must load attacker-controlled content, and exploitation deletes the selected administrator account.
