Stored script execution via unsanitized menu fields
Published Aug 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in PopojiCMS 2.0.1 Menu Manager allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. Menu::save stores the submitted title and URL fields without neutralizing active content before the values are rendered from the database. Exploitation requires menu-management access and a victim to view the saved menu, exposing data and actions available to that victim's browser session.
