Database query manipulation via crafted ip parameter
Published Jul 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Whatsns 4.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through the ip parameter of the banned-IP form. The endpoint incorporates attacker-controlled ip array values into an SQL statement without adequate neutralization, but no public source identifies the responsible function. NVD treats the issue as unauthenticated, although the sole public request includes administrator session cookies, and the resulting database effects are not publicly demonstrated.
