Script execution via unsanitized request URI
Published Apr 28, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in MiniCMS 1.10 allows remote attackers to execute browser script through a crafted post-edit.php URL. The page echoes $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] directly into its HTML response without encoding, so markup in the query string becomes executable content. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to open the crafted URL, and the injected script can read or alter data available to that MiniCMS session.
