Code execution via web-portal use-after-free
Published May 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Use-after-free in Huawei 5G Mobile WiFi Pro E6878-370 firmware allows attackers to execute code through the device's web portal. During a crafted series of web-portal operations, the firmware references memory after freeing it under an otherwise undisclosed scenario. Adjacent-network access is required; no prior authentication or user interaction is needed, and successful exploitation executes malicious code on the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
