Authenticated command execution via unvalidated command construction
Published Feb 18, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in Huawei GaussDB 200 6.5.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands through its web interface. An authenticated web request supplies input that the system concatenates into an operating-system command without sufficient validation. Access requires a valid web login, and successful exploitation runs attacker-selected commands with the application's execution context.
