CVE-2020-1769Network attack vector

Credential exposure via autocomplete-enabled login fields

Published Mar 27, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Credential exposure in OTRS 7.0.15 and earlier and ((OTRS)) Community Edition allows attackers to access browser-saved logins. In Community Edition 5.0.41 and earlier and 6.0.26 and earlier, the agent and customer login templates leave username and password inputs eligible for browser storage instead of setting autocomplete off. Exposure requires a browser to honor autocomplete, retain the credentials, and later expose its password store to an attacker.
