Unauthenticated file deletion via template path traversal
Published Apr 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in FeiFeiCMS 4.0 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files through a crafted admin template deletion request. The admin-tpl-del route passes its unfiltered id parameter to the file-deletion logic in TplAction.class.php without restricting the resolved path. No authentication or user interaction is required, and deletion can corrupt site content or interrupt service.
