Information disclosure via ARW out-of-bounds read
Published Feb 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Foxit Studio Photo 3.6.6.922 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted ARW file. Its ARW parser fails to validate user-controlled file data before reading beyond an allocated structure. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the direct result is process-memory disclosure, while code execution requires chaining with another flaw.
