Open redirect via unchecked logout parameter
Published Jan 28, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Open redirect in Louketo Proxy 6.0.1 and 7.0.0 allows remote attackers to send logged-in users to arbitrary sites. The logout handler reads the redirect query parameter and passes it directly to the HTTP redirect routine without validating its destination. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to follow a crafted logout link and supports phishing through a trusted proxy origin.
