Incorrect authorization in Texas Instruments BLE5-Stack allows physically proximate attackers to read or write protected attributes. The GAP Bond Manager caches a bonded mobile's Long Term Key authentication property and retains it when the same MAC address re-pairs through unauthenticated Just Works. An attacker must spoof the victim mobile's MAC address within Bluetooth range; the new unauthenticated key is then treated as MITM-protected.
