Inadequate encryption in Emerson OpenEnterprise 3.3.5 and earlier allows local users to obtain credentials for field devices and external systems. Public records do not identify the credential store, cryptographic primitive, key handling, or code path that inadequately protects these credentials. Local low-privileged access is required; disclosure is limited to credentials OpenEnterprise uses for connected devices and external systems.
