Root takeover via hard-coded VNF credentials

Hard-coded credentials in the vSRX VNF on Juniper Networks NFX250 platforms before 19.2R1 allow remote attackers to gain root access. The vSRX VNF retains a vendor-supplied root credential and accepts it through administrative services such as SSH until the root password is configured. Exploitation requires network or local access to an enabled administrative service and yields control of the vSRX VNF instance.
