Authenticated file disclosure via crafted download request
Published Jan 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Local file inclusion in Juniper Networks Junos Space before 19.4R1 allows remote authenticated users to read appliance files via malicious HTTP packets. The Download Report endpoint trusts the FileUrl parameter as a local path and returns that file without restricting access to generated reports. Normal user access and network reachability to the management interface are required; exploitation discloses appliance files without changing or interrupting the service.
