Session hijacking via injected J-Web script
Published Jan 15, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in J-Web in affected Juniper Networks Junos OS releases allows remote attackers to hijack a target user's session. Juniper has not disclosed the affected input, code locus, or precise neutralization failure beyond insufficient XSS protection. Exploitation requires a targeted J-Web user to interact with attacker-controlled content and grants actions with that user's device privileges.
