Path traversal in Fortinet FortiClient EMS 6.4.1 and earlier and 6.2.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to add or delete server files. Deployment Packages accepts directory traversal sequences in the name parameter and uses the resulting path for server-side file operations without confining it to an intended directory. Access to the authenticated management interface is required; exploitation can create or remove files but has no reported direct confidentiality impact.
