Configuration disclosure via unauthorized recovery URL
Published Sep 6, 2021 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Improper access control in FortiSandbox 3.2.1 and earlier and 3.1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read configurations. The recovery URL serves the device configuration file without enforcing the requesting account's administrative authorization. A valid unprivileged account is required; exploitation exposes the appliance configuration but does not alter it or interrupt service.
