Unauthenticated root access via private-key backdoor

Authentication bypass in Mofi Network MOFI4500-4GXeLTE 4.1.5-std allows remote attackers to obtain root access via the management interface. The authentication function contains undocumented code that accepts a holder of a private key as root without checking the configured root password. Possession of the undisclosed private key and network access to the management interface are required, after which the attacker gains full administrative control.
