Protected-data disclosure via unvalidated RSS proxy URI
Published Mar 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal and SSRF in SpinetiX player firmware through 4.5.2 allow remote authenticated users to read protected player data. The rssProxy.php endpoint fails to validate its URI parameter, permitting filesystem traversal and proxy requests to internal services as localhost. Exploitation requires an account with administrator or content-edit rights; the limited-rights script exposes protected files and data but does not grant writes.
