Unauthenticated information disclosure via exposed GetWebInfo
Published Apr 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper access control in Pega Platform 8.4.0.237 allows remote attackers to read sensitive server information through GetWebInfo. The pyActivity request dispatcher invokes GetWebInfo without enforcing the access restrictions intended for that activity, returning information to an unauthenticated request. No user interaction is required; published materials do not identify the returned fields or show a separate write or service-interruption capability.
