Authenticated file disclosure via improper permission enforcement
Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authorization failure in Broadcom Brocade SANnav before 2.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to view unauthorized directories and hidden files. The File Listing component fails to enforce configured file and directory permissions, but Broadcom has not disclosed the affected endpoint or exact authorization check. A valid SANnav account is required; the flaw exposes hidden files and also permits unauthorized directory creation without interrupting the service.
