CVE-2020-15368Known exploitationPublic exploit

Kernel code execution via unrestricted encrypted IOCTLs

Published Jun 29, 2020 · Updated May 28, 2026

Improper access control in ASRock RGB Driver allows local users to execute code in the Windows kernel through AsrDrv103.sys IOCTLs. The driver decrypts requests with an embedded AES key and permits user-mode callers to invoke privileged register and physical-memory operations. Access to the loaded driver device is required; crafted requests can overwrite kernel memory or zero CR3 and force an immediate reboot.
