Database disclosure via unescaped search_order query parameter
Published Jun 28, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Nexos - Real Estate WordPress Theme 1.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data via search_order. The side-map endpoint inserts the user-supplied search_order value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is extraction of sensitive information from the WordPress database.
