Unauthenticated information disclosure via hardcoded API key
Published Jun 26, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in Zyxel CloudCNM SecuManager 3.1.0 and 3.1.1 allows remote attackers to query the GLOBALS API. The /live/GLOBALS endpoint on HTTP ports 80 and 9673 accepts the fixed CLOUDCNM key from unauthenticated requests instead of enforcing per-user authorization. Default WAN exposure makes the endpoint remotely reachable; public research does not identify the returned fields or show data modification or service interruption.
