Cloud credential disclosure via unauthenticated API
Published Jun 26, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Missing authentication in Zyxel CloudCNM SecuManager 3.1.0 and 3.1.1 allows remote attackers to read cloud access credentials. The zy_get_user_id_and_key endpoint accepts a caller-supplied cnmid without authenticating the request and returns access_key_id and secret_access_key values. Network access to the HTTP service is sufficient, exposing credentials used for the product's cloud configuration.
