Browser script execution via reflected script_name parameter
Published Jun 26, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Zyxel CloudCNM SecuManager 3.1.0 and 3.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. The handle_campaign_script_link endpoint writes the script_name query value directly into the response body and anchor markup without output encoding. A user must open an attacker-crafted request; the resulting script runs in the web interface origin and can read or alter data available to that browser session.
