Sensitive data disclosure via world-readable Data.fs
Published Jun 26, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Incorrect file permissions in Zyxel CloudCNM SecuManager 3.1.0 and 3.1.1 allow local users to read sensitive management data. The /opt/axess/var/filestorage/Data.fs ZODB file is mode 0644, exposing cookies, password hashes, access-control parameters, serialized Python objects, and TR-069 logs to every local account. Exploitation requires local filesystem access and exposes stored data without granting direct modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
