SQL query disclosure via download error response
Published Jan 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information exposure in Combodo iTop before 2.7.2 and 3.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to view an SQL query after a portal download error. The user-portal download error handler returns the underlying SQL query in its error response instead of suppressing database diagnostics. Access requires an authenticated portal session, and the disclosed material is limited to query text; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
