Browser script execution via unsanitized CMS inputs
Published Mar 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Bloomreach Experience Manager 4.1.0 through 14.2.2 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via crafted CMS inputs. The login message reflects unescaped input, while editor source attributes, translation folder names, author links, and uploaded SVG files store executable markup. The reflected route needs no attacker account and a crafted-link click; stored routes require content-authoring access and victim viewing.
