Authenticated file disclosure via unconstrained download path
Published Jun 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in Global RADAR BSA Radar 1.6.7234.24750 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read local server files. The /UC/downloadFile.ashx handler accepts an absolute path in the Filename parameter and returns the referenced file without confining access to the transaction-file directory. Valid privileges for the endpoint are required; successful requests expose local sensitive or configuration files without changing or interrupting the server.
