Code execution via project-file path traversal
Published Feb 11, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Path traversal in Mitsubishi Electric FA products allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted project or configuration file. When a product operates the crafted data, traversal paths can replace arbitrary executable or library files with attacker-chosen code. User interaction is required, and code execution follows when the affected software runs with administrator privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
