CVE-2020-14504Network attack vector

Unauthenticated configuration changes via HTTP POST requests

Published Feb 24, 2022 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Improper authentication in Rockwell Automation 1734-AENTR firmware allows remote attackers to modify device configuration via HTTP POST requests. The embedded web interface accepts crafted POST requests without enforcing authentication, permitting login passwords and web form fields to be changed. Affected firmware is Series B 4.001 through 4.005 and 5.011 through 5.017, and Series C 6.011 and 6.012; network access alone is sufficient.
