Cleartext storage in FactoryTalk View SE 9.0 and earlier allows local users to read Windows logon and application credentials from memory. The software retains usernames and passwords in plaintext in RAM instead of protecting them after use. An authenticated local session and access to the affected process memory are required; exposure is limited to credentials resident in memory.
