CVE-2020-14477

Local information viewing and modification via alternate login

Published Jun 26, 2020 · Updated Jun 4, 2025

Authentication bypass in Philips Ultrasound systems allows local users to view or modify information through an alternate service login. The alternate service-login path omits the authentication required by the primary path; Philips has not disclosed the specific interface or implementation error. Affected releases are ClearVue before 3.2, CX before 5.0.2, EPIQ/Affiniti before VM5.0, Sparq before 3.0.2, and all Xperius versions; exploitation requires local access, low privileges, and high-complexity conditions.
