Script execution via unsanitized operation name
Published Jun 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in MITRE CALDERA 2.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted operation name. The Operation Name box accepts a script element and renders the supplied value as active page content instead of neutralizing it. Low-privileged access and interaction by another user are required; resulting script runs in that user's browser context.
