Browser script execution via Basic Policy Editor
Published Jun 18, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in WSO2 Identity Server and IS as Key Manager 5.9.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run browser scripts. The Basic Policy Editor renders attacker-supplied interface input in a browser-executable context; the public advisory does not identify the parameter or function. A valid Management Console account and victim interaction are required; httpOnly cookies prevent session-cookie theft, but page data and UI remain exposed.
