Authenticated script execution via reflected policy payload
Published Jun 18, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in WSO2 Identity Server and IS as Key Manager 5.9.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in a user’s browser. The Policy Administration XML editor reflects a crafted payload into the response body without neutralization, causing the browser to execute it. Exploitation requires low-privilege access and user interaction; protected httpOnly cookies prevent the reported impacts from including session hijacking.
