A memory-alignment issue in LibVNCServer before 0.9.13 allows remote attackers to cause service interruption via byte-aligned data accessed through uint16_t pointers. The libvncserver/translate.c code reads byte-aligned data through uint16_t pointers, an operation that can fault on architectures requiring alignment.
