Local credential disclosure via logged command-line password

Credential exposure in GNOME Settings Daemon on RHEL 8 before 8.2 allows local users to read a Portal password during desktop registration. The registration helper passes the Red Hat Customer Portal password as a command-line argument and writes the full command, including the password, to the system log. Exposure requires registration through GNOME Control Center while an unprivileged local user can inspect the running command; log access is otherwise limited to administrators.
