Compute-resource credential disclosure through hosted virtual machines
Published Jun 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Credential exposure in Red Hat Satellite 6.6.3 through 6.7 allows remote authenticated users to obtain compute-resource credentials through hosted VMs. Red Hat has not published the code locus or the operation that makes stored compute-resource credentials available inside those VMs. Access to a VM running on a configured compute resource is required, and exposure is limited to credentials for that resource.
