Denial of service in GNU Bison before 3.5.4 allows local users to crash the generator by processing an untrusted grammar file. Public sources do not identify the exact crashing function or the invalid operation performed on the grammar data. The risk exists only when Bison processes untrusted input and unsafe behavior occurs with a particular compiler and architecture; generated parsers are not affected.
