Unauthenticated command injection via addMeshNode
Published Sep 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in Xiaomi Mi AIoT Router AX3600 ROM versions before 1.1.12 allows remote attackers to execute commands via the addMeshNode interface. The addMeshNode handler in xqnetwork.lua passes attacker-controlled input into command execution without adequate neutralization, yielding administrator-authority command execution. The network path requires no authentication or user interaction and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the router.
