Unauthenticated code execution via oversized ping address

Stack-based buffer overflow in TRENDnet TEW-827DRU through 2.06B04 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code over the network. The ssi binary accepts a sufficiently long ping_ipaddr value in a POST to apply_sec.cgi for the ping_test action and overflows a stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation gives the attacker control of the router and can interrupt its network service.
