Unauthenticated administrator access via predictable credentials
Published Jun 29, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in MK-AUTH 19.01 allows remote attackers to obtain administrator access through the web login endpoint. The admin/executar_login.php script accepts a hard-coded username paired with a predictably generated password instead of enforcing secret credentials. A crafted HTTP login request is sufficient without prior authentication, granting access to administrative functions exposed by the application.
