Agent-status corruption via unauthenticated update requests
Published Jun 12, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Missing authentication in ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus before 11.1 build 11115 allows remote attackers to alter deployed-agent status. The agent installation-status update path accepts network requests without establishing a user identity and writes the requested state for a deployed agent. No account or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is corruption of agent inventory state, not code execution or data disclosure.
