Script execution via unencoded fid parameter
Published Jun 24, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Navigate CMS 2.8 and 2.9 r1433 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The fid value supplied to navigate.php is inserted into a top-right-page link without adequate validation or HTML encoding. Exploitation requires an authenticated landing-page request and user interaction with a crafted link, allowing script execution in that user's CMS origin.
